It has been a very disappointing experience dealing with this company.
I purchased approximately $2,000 worth of Paysafecard PINs through Recharge.com, intending to use them on a gaming website. Initially, everything appeared to be fine. However, Recharge.com later began pausing my orders without any prior warning.
I was informed afterward that there is allegedly a limit on the number of Paysafecard PINs or denominations that can be purchased within a 24-hour period. It is unclear whether this restriction originates from Paysafecard or Recharge.com, as Recharge.com simply blamed Paysafe for not issuing additional PINs once the threshold was reached.
Despite this, Recharge.com still charged my credit card immediately, while delaying delivery of the PINs for up to 24 hours. This was never clearly disclosed beforehand. As a result, my credit card funds were placed on hold, leaving me without access to either the money or the PINs.
Shortly afterward, the gaming website stopped accepting Paysafecard payments from me, stating that my myPaysafecard account appeared to belong to someone else. When I checked my account profile, I noticed that my father’s name was listed instead of mine. This account is unquestionably mine it was created many years ago, uses my email address, and has always been under my control. I corrected the name in the profile accordingly.
The following day, once Recharge.com finally delivered the remaining PINs, I added them to my Paysafecard account. Immediately after attempting to use them, I received a message stating that my account had been suspended. There was no advance notice, no warning, and no explanation provided.
When I contacted Paysafecard support, the experience was extremely poor. After opening a support ticket, I received no response for several days. Only after repeatedly following up did I receive the following message:
“We would like to inform you that your Paysafecard Administration Tool has been closed with immediate effect due to a breach of our Terms and Conditions. Going forward, you are not allowed to use our services again.”
No specific reason, evidence, or explanation was provided. The response was final, vague, and dismissive.
Paysafecard indicated that unused PIN balances would be refunded. However, it has now been over seven days, and the process has been unnecessarily difficult. They rejected my bank statement, claiming it was fabricated or edited. Initially, their support team explicitly stated that screenshots were acceptable, yet days later I discovered on my own that they had rejected the documents without notifying me.
They have repeatedly requested additional identification and documentation, constantly changing their requirements and causing further delays.
Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience, especially given the significant amount of money involved.
By contrast, my experience with Flexepin and its supported merchants has been consistently smooth, transparent, and customer-friendly. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Paysafecard
