Package Stolen - No Response from the Company. Twice disappointed - I feel foolish. I ordered a sweatshirt for my daughter as a Christmas gift online during their Black Friday sale, knowing from past experiences that it would likely arrive after the holidays due to their notorious delays. I did receive their generic emails about the delays, but I wanted to support a local business. While I was out of town at the end of December (around the 19th), I got a notification that my package was out for delivery. Later that evening, I received a notification from their logistics provider stating it had been delivered. I assumed they knocked on the door when they dropped it off (given the late hour) and didn’t think much of it. My daughter was at home at that time. The next morning, I saw the delivery email and noticed that the logistics company sent a photo of the package along with a message saying “we couldn’t find your house.” The picture showed my package carelessly placed at the bottom step of my neighbor’s house, not even at their door. I quickly texted my neighbor because, as we all know, package theft is common during the holidays, and sure enough - it was gone. I filed a stolen package report with the delivery service, and their delivery person had no trouble locating my house the next morning when they returned to check on the stolen package. They even provided a Google Maps screenshot showing my home, insisting again that “they couldn’t find it.” Quite ironic. Once they realized their negligence led to the theft, I was told to contact the company for assistance. I expected as much. I’ve sent all communications to the company, but have I received any reply? Not a single one. You took my money, your delivery team failed to do their job, and now I’m left to pursue a resolution? Naturally, I have to because the company presents itself as socially responsible, yet it seems they spend more time on social media than addressing customer issues. No more online shopping for me, and I won’t be making any in-store purchases either. Clearly, they don’t care. I want to support local businesses, just not this one.
