My experience with the veterinarian was deeply unsatisfactory due to her argumentative and unprofessional demeanor. After expressing my concerns, I was offered only a £40 refund. Despite assurances of a call during specified hours, none came. Upon my arrival, the veterinarian engaged in a lengthy debate instead of addressing my pet's needs. When I mentioned my autism, she dismissively stated, 'we are all autistic on days like this,' failing to recognize the significant challenges faced by individuals with autism. Her unwillingness to proceed with the euthanasia and preference for debate was distressing. She even shared personal struggles at a moment when I was saying goodbye to my beloved pet, showing a lack of professionalism. I felt uncomfortable in my own home and nearly asked her to leave, but my pet's needs were paramount. Although I had a positive experience with another veterinarian from the same practice recently, I cannot recommend their services now, as this particular veterinarian did not fulfill her role adequately. The service cost a total of £397, plus over £300 for cremation. The response to my complaint ignored the most serious issues, offering either a £50 casket or a £40 refund. I am currently disputing this with my credit card company, as the company's promise of a peaceful and professional service was not met, constituting a breach of contract, which I am reporting.
