Having read other reviews on this company I suspect they have been written by employees of the company. I have been battling with them for either a replacement of my order or a refund since the end of January. I originally ordered 5 pairs of footwear from them all at the same time. 3 were purchased on a sale where if you bought 2 pair you got one pair free and the other two were a BOGO special. I used their foot size chart and ordered according to my regular US shoe size of a womens 9-9.5. They are the new barefoot style that are supposed to be so good for your feet. The original order came with a pair of boots that were about 4 sizes smaller then the size I ordered. The other 4 pairs of shoes were the size I ordered according to their chart that I needed but I felt they were too small. They are not very well made and I was very leary at that point but they said to just try them. They said you just have to get used to them. I thought I would see how it went. After about a week I contacted them and told them they were not going to work. I had ordered them for a trip I was taking in March so I didn't have time to mess around. I told them if they couldn't deliver the shoes in the correct size by the last week in February I wouldn't need them. They sent me new boots in the size I had ordered but of course they didn't fit because their size chart was incorrect. To get a refund I was told me I would have to return the shoes and they gave me an address in China. I went to UPS and was told it would cost over $500.00 to ship them back. BUT they would give me a credit for the full amount I had spent $209.86, and I could keep the ones that were too small. I just couldn't use the crefit it on any specials so instead of 5 pair I would have to add more to even get 3 pairs. I told them that was not acceptable and they needed to give me an address in Deleware where the payment had been sent so I could get my refund. They have been stalling ever since and now want me to pay $10.00 and they say they will send me the 5 pair in the correct size and I can keep the ones that are too small????? WHY would $10.00 suddenly make them fix everything and let me keep the ones that are too small. I do not trust them. They have admitted their size chart and sizes run small. Why is that the customers fault. Since I have been trying to get this resolved I have found the shoes they say they are selling, Lorax Pro on other sites at 1/2 the cost they are charging. The one pair I tried wearing, I only used 3 days and the shoe pad and lining is falling apart. I ended up having to order other shoes for my trip from another company. (Whitin brand, they are wonderful) Peakfoot Wear Company is not answering any of my questions and I am still out my $209.86. The shoes do me no good being too small. This company needs to be held accountable for their sizing issues, their poor quality, and their shady customer service. Beware unless you have money to waste. So make sure everyone is aware, I have over 25 emails that have been sent trying to fix this but there comes a time you have realize not all companies have the consumers best interest at heart and the consumers have to join together to flag these companies and make others aware of them. I am going to notify my credit card company next and try to do a charge back. Please BEWARE!
