My experience was very disappointing and let me tell you why before I even scheduled anything with them. I did my research looked at the the reviews and spoke not once but twice to the operators on the phone it seemed very legit very easy and no questions ask and the title get your check that’s not how it went down today, February 5
They were scheduled to come and pick up my 2017 ram Dodge pick up between seven and 11.
They did show up on time ,
when I walked outside there was a tow truck with a car already attached to it already,
a gentleman stepped out on the left-hand side and said hi I’m here to pick up your truck.
I said OK hi how are you doing?
Can I have your ID or drivers license so I can make a copy of it or take a photo he immediately said no we don’t do that,
I said OK well, I don’t even know who you are,
He pointed to the truck to show me the name,
I said OK si I asked him,
Do you have the check already?
He said yes,
once we have possession of the keys and the title I will write you out a check,
I looked at him confused and I said no , that’s not what I was told ,
I was told the check would be ready to go with the name already printed and not manually written ,
He said he wasn’t aware of that and the check would clear after they inspect the vehicle at their shop,
I said what do you mean the offer was for $2785,
he then said yes , but when we take it to the shop, the price will probably change after the inspection,
I said wait a minute ,
this is totally not what they told me , so you’re telling me that you could basically offer me $400 and there’s nothing I could do because you already have my vehicle and you have my my title, correct
So I looked at him and I said
I don’t feel comfortable at all.
This is not what I was told.
I feel like this was a misrepresentation because once you have my vehicle, you could do whatever you can because the title has already been handed to you signed and I said no thank you
I would be very suspicious with this company if you’re ever trying to sell your vehicle🧐
