The staff have turned Peebles around. We have been going as a family for many years, enjoying the independent nature and culture that a privately owned hotel brings. When it was bought by Crieff Hydro in 2014, there was a definite dip in family friendly service, the activities were stripped down to a bare minimum and the food was over priced. However, it now is back to where it was, and back to why we loved Peebles - delicious food, gorgeous rooms, fun activities and a great Ceilidh . This has undoubtedly been turned around by the brilliant leadership of the Manager Caroline, along with the staff she has trained in her ethos of a personal, friendly, caring service for every guest, whether they be 8 or 80.
