If I could give negative stars I really would. We we given key cards to a foosty stale and extremely dusty room. Not luxury at all. After having to speak to two house keeping managers and a deputy manager - we then we sent the manager. She couldn’t have been more rude, or impolite and unprofessional. I have chased this up with customer care, - who don’t care. They empathise but do nothing to compensate and resolve our disappointment. We were given a small discount off our stay. But it was ruined and we feel it didn’t reflect our very disappointing experience The leisure area - where do I start - rancid smelling costume drier, manky changing rooms, full or small areas of mould, hair and dust. Signage has been moved and renewed not areas not repainted. Very very tired … better off with a visit to your local swimming pool! Probably safer!The gym - mould fest! We went to run on the treadmills under a vast area of black mould ! I wish I could include pictures! Honestly you wouldn’t believe! I work in health care and told them it should be closed. In a nutshell , avoid avoid - there are other nicer hotels in the area , Barony Castle, Cardrona, Stobo, Beware as the Park hotel is one of their sister hotels !!
