My dog is 7 years old and never slept in any dog bed I purchased. I placed this bed on the couch with one of his blankets slightly draped over part of the bed. This morning, I found him in the bed! I was so happy and he looked so comfortable. I then moved the bed to the family room so he could be with us during the day and he went right in it again. Couldn't be happier.
