Update - I got a call from a manager at Pensionwise an hour after I lodged this same complaint directly with them. He apologised for what had happened and asked if I was free to take the call in another few minutes which I did. The lady I got was very helpful. So now upgrading this review from the Original 1 star (below) to 3 stars as it strikes a balance between the two experiences. ≈===========================Booked a Pensionwise call on 16th July and first availability was today at 3.30pm. I spent weeks gathering all the facts and figures they required by phoning around my pension providers. I was tied to near home all day so I didn't miss the call and had all my paperwork set out. Waited with my phone in hand from 3.20pm - guess what they didn't call but at 3.41 pm sent me an email stating I'd missed my appointment and I'd need to rebook. Waited 20 mins in queue on the phone as I wanted to find out why they lied that they had tried to call and to ask them to do my appointment now. Got through to be told they tried to phone me three times but couldn't get through then they admitted they had internet connection issues at their end which is why it probably didn't connect to me. They had no advisers available to take my appointment 30mins late (what about the one who should've still been on a call with me??) but was told i would need to rebook.The government should wind up this farce of an outfit and spend taxpayers money more wisely.
