Penske Truck Leasing has demonstrated unacceptable business practices. A vehicle rented from them was in extremely poor condition, dirty, unstable while driving, and unfit for safe operation. This posed a serious safety risk and caused significant delays.After reporting the issue, their representatives verbally confirmed they will take care of the issue. Yet instead of honoring that, Penske attempted to issue a waiver to limit their liability after making verbal commitments, a misleading and unprofessional approach. Penske attempted to charge another card that was used on a previous reservation for gas with permission, which violates their contract if the truck was told to break down.Additionally, after the vehicle was towed to the Carrollton location, personal property was discovered missing from inside the truck. This raises serious concerns about how Penske handles customers' belongings when vehicles are returned or towed.Even more troubling, there was an unauthorized attempt to use a payment method unrelated to the reservation, which is not only inappropriate but may also constitute a violation of consumer protection laws.To date, Penske has failed to address these serious issues appropriately or take responsibility. This experience has raised multiple red flags involving customer safety, accountability, and financial integrity.
