Couple of major issues with peoplecert
1. Their written English is extremely poor the Prince2 Practioner is all but illegible rendering courses focused on how to answer their poorly constructed questions rather than focus on obtaining skills.
2. The Prince2 concept is far too theoretical with minimal practical applications as an example so where one would assume a practioner may put into practise an exemption plan for example it just again focuses on answering questions.
3. There is far too much pomp for the exam, you see less control measures when gaining qualification for live rail, I question the reasoning a concept based course needs the amount of stringent security measures these exams have been based on.

I am not sure if they are a legitimate company. I bought the ITIL exam (more than 600$) and tried to use the code. Didn’t work. I had to ask for support several times with no response and eventually when they responded it was expired and the only option was “purchase an extension”. Seems like a by design problem to me.

My experience with the ITIL® 4 Foundation exam has been both insightful and transformative. Preparing for the certification allowed me to gain a clear understanding of IT service management principles, practices, and the value they bring to organizations. I developed a strong grasp of the ITIL® service value system, guiding principles, and key practices that help align IT services with business objectives.

The exam preparation enhanced my ability to think in terms of delivering value, improving processes, and fostering collaboration across teams. It also strengthened my confidence in applying ITIL® concepts to real-world scenarios, such as incident management, continual improvement, and service delivery. Overall, this certification journey has equipped me with a solid foundation to contribute effectively to IT service management initiatives and support organizational growth.

I am a Portfolio Manager leading critical health technology infrastructure. My certifications are not optional "extras"; they are professional requirements for my role and career advancement. For four years, PeopleCert’s systemic negligence has actively sabotaged my professional standing.

1. The Migration Trap (Ref: CAS-819831-X9F3J5)
In 2022, during the Axelos transition, a PeopleCert agent explicitly told me to "wait" to renew until the migration was complete. This was professional misdirection. Because I followed their advice, their broken system now claims a "discontinuity" in my record—a gap created entirely by their own internal database failures (Ref: CAS-850302-T3M8D2).

2. Retroactive Goalpost Shifting
I earned my certification in 2021 when the requirement was clear: report every 3 years. PeopleCert is now retroactively applying a "yearly update" rule that did not exist when I certified. Even worse, they are enforcing this during a period when their own portal was inaccessible due to "technical debt" and migration errors (Ref: CAS-1192460-C3J1P5).

3. Career Impact & Financial Bad Faith
The silence from their support team (CAS-1890261-H8V5Q0) is a dereliction of duty. I am being held in "credential limbo," which impacts my ability to bid on contracts and move forward with senior-level leadership roles. They were happy to take my money for a "Pro Membership" on January 23, 2026, yet they continue to lock me out of the reporting portal.

4. Zero Acknowledgment
Despite my history as a long-standing candidate, no one will acknowledge the error. They are happy to collect fees, but they refuse to fix the administrative mess they created. If you are a professional whose career relies on verified credentials, BEWARE. PeopleCert is a paywall with no accountability.

I have many other certifications and never have had any issues. I have all the required CPDs to maintain my certifications.

Disappointing experience with the membership.

The service did not meet my expectations. As a certified ITIL Trainer at an ATO, I regret paying for the Plus Membership. The automated processes clearly failed to recognize my credentials. I have reached out to the support team to request a refund.

Exceptional Experience Worthy of a Perfect Score

I would give a perfect score for the overall experience. The straightforward and easy-to-follow guided steps, the training resources, the support from the proctor prior to the exam, and the user-friendly interface all contributed to a very comfortable atmosphere!

A Seamless and Professional ITIL Exam Experience

I recently completed my ITIL exam through a certification provider, and the entire experience was smooth, professional, and well-organized. The platform was user-friendly, the proctoring process was straightforward, and everything functioned as anticipated. The exam itself was fair, aligned with the training materials, and genuinely assessed real-world understanding rather than mere memorization. I appreciated how the questions promoted practical thinking — which is crucial for applying ITIL concepts in actual operational settings. Overall, the certification provider offered a reliable and efficient certification experience. I would recommend it to anyone looking to validate their ITIL knowledge and advance their professional development.

Miscommunication about the exam language

They indicated that the exam would be in English, but it was in Dutch, poorly translated, which was quite frustrating.
