I purchased a necklace from People‘s jeweller in Southgate Mall Edmonton for my daughter with a warranty, but the gift was given after 30 days… it ended up not suiting her so I wanted to return it. I understood it was after 30 days so would only receive a credit and that would be fine, but I was told point-blank there was absolutely no return and it would not be put towards a credit! The woman at the counter said it’s an American company and they run it like the military with no exceptions. I will never buy a piece of jewellery from people’s jeweller ever again. Ever! I feel with a piece of jewellery only being 45 days old with a receipt and never being worn is worthy of getting a credit, but people’s jeweller does not think that. Never again!
