Horrible experience. Here at Beverly, NJ.Brought my car in today. Explained that to them that I replaced the O2 sensor yesterday but the car started misfiring, so i put back the old O2 sensor and I brought the car to them. They said no problem we will take care of it. After finishing the work on the car and about to pay 611$ i asked them if i can try the car before paying. They said no. You have to pay first. But if the check engine light comes back and the car starts misfiring, just bring it back and we will fix it. I paid and drove off. 15 minutes later, the engine light came back off and the car started misfiring, drove right back to PepBoys and told them what’s going on. They said we can’t look at it right now. I said can you at least put the old O2 sensor back and refund me the money, they said they can’t because the work is already completed.I called my bank to dispute the transaction right away and now i am still waiting. When i went back inside and told them that I called my bank, they said okay. Have a good day.Dante the representative there was no help at all and just wants to charge you money for uncompleted job. Stay away from that Pepboys
