The initial pendant we had for my elderly Mum worked perfectly. It charged by her bed, making it easy for her to wear daily. However, the company suggested an upgrade due to potential future network issues, which I now find unlikely. We proceeded with the upgrade, which turned out to be much more expensive after the initial discount. The new pendant also announces loudly at night when it's fully charged, waking my Mum. I contacted the support team about this issue, and they promised to look into it, but two months later, I have yet to hear back about this significant concern. Now, my Mum has to charge the pendant in the kitchen, which disrupts her sleep and increases her risk of falling. I'm very disappointed and regret upgrading from the old white pendant to the new square black one. Caution is advised; the new pendants can't be charged next to the bed.
