I really needed this time away but first up it took me ages to find the safe box, instead of saying it’s on the verandah post at the front of the house, the notes told me it was to the left of the front door. I was looking everywhere along the wall to the left of the door and couldn’t find it, getting wet while searching.
Thought as though I was wet I would have a warm shower, I searched in every cupboard and drawer for a bath towel, only to find there were none. I had to wait until 7.00 at night before someone could drop one around.
I watched Netflix so I didn’t realise the tv wasn’t working on live tv until the next day when two separate people came around at different times trying to fix it to no avail.
The first night I pulled the sheets back as I always do to check the bed before getting in, it had several black hairs on the white sheets. I had to sleep in it thinking the sheets were dirty. First thing next morning I washed the sheets and remade the bed.
On the positive I got one day out of three where I could actually relax.
The cottage was nice and had most things I needed.
