Review Time
I really needed this time away but first up it took me ages to find the safe box, instead of saying it’s on the verandah post at the front of the house, the notes told me it was to the left of the front door. I was looking everywhere along the wall to the left of the door and couldn’t find it, getting wet while searching.
Thought as though I was wet I would have a warm shower, I searched in every cupboard and drawer for a bath towel, only to find there were none. I had to wait until 7.00 at night before someone could drop one around.
I watched Netflix so I didn’t realise the tv wasn’t working on live tv until the next day when two separate people came around at different times trying to fix it to no avail.
The first night I pulled the sheets back as I always do to check the bed before getting in, it had several black hairs on the white sheets. I had to sleep in it thinking the sheets were dirty. First thing next morning I washed the sheets and remade the bed.
On the positive I got one day out of three where I could actually relax.
The cottage was nice and had most things I needed.
We had a lovely mini break , the property is in a great location, this property is in the budget price range and it did reflect that is the finishes, however it was clean a pleasant, good kitchen, back yard was a bit tired.
Pet let was easy to deal with, no issues
Out stay in Carrickalinga was superb! The house had everything we needed. It was clean, spacious, comfortable with a great view of the beach and sea in such a wonderful quiet location. Our greyhound 'Sassy' also loved it.
The house is well equipped from pots and pans to wine glasses, games, smart TV and comfy couches!
Pet Let were good at communicating and even managed to allow is to check in 30 mins early albeit we didn't need that in the end as found a nice pub while we waited :-)

This property was just what we wanted. Clean and tidy with everything that we needed. The view over the lake was beautiful and our fur babies loved laying on the deck watching the birds. The fully enclosed yard was amazing giving the dogs plenty of space to run around. My only negative was that it is a reasonable distance to the beach. Too far for us to walk. But this wasn't a problem. We was sad to leave and look forward to our next Pet Let holiday.
The holiday home had a nice atmosphere as soon as you enter a lovely welcome gift awaiting us was a lovely bottle of wine and some delicious chocolate too the views are spectacular and so relaxing a lovely clean and comfortable home 🏡 thankyou will certainly stay again in the future my ragdoll cat liked the home too very relaxed 😌
PetLet were so helpful during the booking process and in all communication with us. They were very prompt and helpful in addressing a couple of issues we had. Their pre-arrival information was spot on, as was their information about the property, the region, about things to do. The house was clean and well maintained.

The house was immaculate and equipped with everything we required. The backyard was securely enclosed, ensuring our dogs stayed safe, which was a huge relief. This cottage offers exceptional comfort on a tranquil street right in the center of Victor Harbour. It's very well-equipped, featuring amenities like a dishwasher! The expansive backyard provides a fantastic play area for an energetic dog, fully fenced for privacy. The beds and lounge furniture are inviting, making it an ideal spot to unwind by the sea.
Fantastic spot with superb amenities. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and practicality of the house. Every need was met. The sunsets and starry nights were truly delightful. The only letdown was the lack of Coorong Mullet, which might just lead to another visit next year. Our dog was also very content.
