Our poor little dog had a little fall at the start of the policy, an accident, which is apparently covered by our policy. Except it wasn't. Those insurance fears came true.
We thought we'd be in safe hands with Petplan, but I had to chase them 4 or 5 times, over a month after the accident to try and get a response.
Eventually we were told that our claim is invalid and his muscle problem, which we rectified with rest and painkillers, was an illness!! Wow. Ridiculous.
We're leaving, as why would we stay with an insurance company that we have no trust or faith in. What's the point in being insured?
If we can't trust to be insured then we can't afford a dog.
