Only ever made one claim in 5.5 years before cancelling today. Our premiums went up and up, then up again.Our dog had to have a castration due to having blood in his pee. Total bill £1200 (£800 investigation + £400 castration). The vet claimed on our behalf, advising that the castration might not be covered. It wasn't. In fact NONE of it was covered! Apparently an intact dog does not get the same cover as a castrated one.The pet insurance sector is just a racket, and all insurance companies are laughing in our faces.Cancelled my insurance immediately. I'll put the £90 per month in a savings account and do it that way. I'd have been way in credit by now if I'd just done this from day one.
