Money grab leech of a company offering…

Money grab leech of a company offering unnecessary services - shameless, just look at their website - their first pitch is shamelessly "increase opportunities for pet revenue!" Um, why not just increase the rent if you really need more revenue? Oh you want to hide it? ah that makes sense..Since when is it so hard to have an apartment complex manager decide whether or not to allow a pet? The one I used didn't do any due diligence using the petscreening submission itself, they just said "great! just let me know when you get everything submitted, pay the deposit, and we can set up the 'pet rent' $20/mo later". This is before I submitted anything including rabies vaccination "proof" (an easily fakeable document). In any case, why do we need a 3rd party to accept documents that we could simply provide to the rental manager, which we are doing anyway with income verification, lease signing, etc? Petscreening is not actually verifying any of these documents, I assure you they are not calling veterinarians to verify rabies vaccinations - do you really think vets who are overworked as it is have time to field calls from petscreening.com!? and do you think the vets feel they have any obligation to confirm anything to them? it's laughable. We went decades operating apartment complexes with simple pet deposits, and now we have yet another leech company offering no real service while jacking up our rent - and the pet deposits are still there of course. I won't be using any rental units in the future if they contract with useless companies like this, and you should all refuse to sign leases that force them upon you either. Same goes for "valet trash" pickup services.
