Review Time
had an issue with old email that was hacked and password-- got help from Mackenzie -- i explained my problem -- in just a bit -- he had the pet account changed to my new email-- then he sent my passcode reset -- WOW it was all a snap from there -- thankyou Mackenzie --
recently contacted PetScreening for clarification regarding my assistance animal documentation, including my dog and ESA birds.
Stephanie from support responded promptly and clearly explained that PetScreening functions as a third-party service working directly with the housing provider. She appropriately directed me to contact my leasing office for a determination regarding whether a profile is required for my caged birds, since that decision must come from the housing provider.
I also appreciated the transparent explanation of the review timeline for my dog’s assistance animal profile. The estimated 2–5 business day processing window, along with clarification about potential delays and expedited review procedures (if requested by the housing provider), was helpful and clearly communicated.
Overall, the response was professional, courteous, and informative. The support representative provided clear next steps and set appropriate expectations regarding the review process.
Customer service agents were super helpful and quick to respond to my emails. Although I would have liked the option to speak with someone, I understand a lot of businesses are straying away from that option. Overall a very good experience
I paid an "annual" fee for two dogs in late 2025 when applying for an apartment. My lease starts in early 2026. They charged me twice in January 2026. After requesting a refund for the duplicate fees, they refunded me but closed my account. They claimed my initial fees were only valid for 2025, despite charging me for a full year. Contacting them by phone is futile; the listed number redirects to online support, which offers generic responses without real assistance. This service feels like a scam, and I advise anyone looking for an apartment to be wary if this service is involved.

The experience with this service has been extremely disappointing. My profile for an assistance animal was denied multiple times, even after submitting required documents. I reached out to support several times over five days but received only scripted responses without genuine help. Their suggestion to seek additional documentation from another provider disregards my primary care provider's recommendations, which feels unethical and discriminatory toward my disability. I received no real assistance and would not recommend this service.
