Filipino's are renowned for excellence in customer service and person to person customer care..!! Not so with Philippine Airlines..Just back from Philippines we checked in Perth Airport the lady was rude up herself and damn ignorant, kept speaking Tagalog to my wife after asking multiple times to speak in English she reluctantly did so with a dirty look and service went further down hill from there, everything was extra scrutinized..!!..Service on the plane was below par for an International flight, asking for water or a drink was met with scour face..!1 Meals were very very average..Check in from NIIA lady was so so so pleasant to deal with complete difference from Perth...Airline crew again scour faced why be in a job if you dont like it..!! The Inflight entertainment.? Movies old music outdated, maybe Filipinos are ok with sub par services, westerners however want value for their money..!!They call the Airlines Filipino heart of Philippines...for Filipino's....NEWS BREAK: 75% travellers are Westerners...they are paying to keep your planes in the air..!! Wont fly again with them rather my 2 hour stop over in Singapore...at least same price if not cheaper Singapore airlines and 100% better service and smile..!!Just a real crappy flight there and back..!! Lesson learned..!!
