PAL scrooge up our Christmas

Waited 2 extra hours to board our Philippines Airlines flight. "Everything's okay" they said. "Bad weather" they said. Sat on plane over 8 hours. "Thanks for you patience, everyone". Then..."Sorry folks, they are clearing the runways...they are getting the plane ready for extreme weather...etc." Then they said, "So sorry. You fight has been canceled due to mechanical issues, please disembark the plane in an orderly fashion." Chaos ensued. This happened on Christmas eve. We had to spend the holiday in a hotel without our luggage (clothes, toiletries, MEDICATIONS." Worst...travel...experiencence...ever.PS: TSA personnel at JFK were some if the nicest, kindest, rudest, and most condescending people ever, as usual. I know most of them are frustrated corrections officers, but travellers are customers, not inmates. People ARE stupid and they ARE inattentive, but you gotta be professional. I know you get paid quite well. Keep this in mind.
