I ordered the happy couple package. My husband adapted to the new pillow instantly. I was skeptical about him liking it but he's used it every night since receiving them. Me on the other hand, I have had to gradually get used to it. It is firm. The support is wonderful especially if you sleep on your back or side. I often turn frequently and turning the pillow to belly sleep in the middle of the night takes some getting used to. On a more positive note, within 3 days I was able to turn my neck side to side. I had been struggling for months to turn to the left. There was no 'new' smell when opening the pillows which allowed us to use them the day we received them. The shipping updates were not like receiving something from Purolator or Amazon. There was no estimated time of arrival. It took a good couple of weeks or more to receive them. Overall we are happy with them. They do take getting used to. They are more of a positioning pillow, good for your body alignment, not necessarily a comfort pillow. Although the waking results are comfortable because of the sleeping position, if that makes sense.
