I applied for the role of a remote English tutor at Pinnacle and the employer or someone claiming to be the HR is requesting for a one time fee of $100 to process my document before appointment.I can be reached on for further details.
I taught at Pinnacle Academy this past year in the Sprouts classroom. I’ve taught for many years at many schools: private, charter, Christian, and public. What impressed me most about Pinnacle is that ALL students are accepted and included. Students aren’t afraid to take part in plays or dances or activities. I’ve watched programs with tears in my eyes as students take center stage who would have been excluded or ignored in other schools. And they just shine! I love this about the school.
This STEM school could not offer my high schooler 9th grade biology nor Pre-calculus. To make up for it, we were offered a finance class taught by a parent. The school also expected the full $11,160 in tuition for English 5 days a week and Social studies 3 days a week. Do the math, you'd think we were at a top private university. Much of the same happened last year, as well. The school also had the audacity to ask for back tuition we withheld for not offering Social Studies last year and offering one of my children only half a day of instruction. If you're in the habit of paying for services not rendered, then this is the place for you.A culture of double standards and two different worlds is the norm here; one for Turkish families and one for everyone else. Counselors, who are also unqualified parents, will jeopardize your child’s academic career in the hopes of accelerating their own children’s academic careers. A toxic environment to say the least. Tons of bias and discrimination at this school against teachers and students, and all these claims can substantiated through countless threads of emails.
I would start by saying that pinnacle has a good academic program. They need improvement in working with kids who are troubled. Pinnacle is excellent with kids with little or no behavioral problems. I don't feel they gave the effort in trying to help my son receive his IEP. The principal kept saying how it can take up to 6 months, but they could have moved faster if they wanted to. I removed my son from pinnacle and he has improved. The principal at Arbor elementary was able to get my son a IEP within a month. Not saying pinnacle is a bad school, because I have two other children who are doing good there. The office clerks are friendly.
My child have been attending this school since starting schooling. This school is my family. Everyone helps everyone. Awesome events and programs for students and parents. They keep you involved in all sreps of your child's education. Thank ypu Pinnacle Academy for making my children as successful as possible.
My children have attended Pinnacle since the doors first opened and we have loved every year. The teachers and staff are personable, always willing to go the extra mile in order to achieve the best results. Our children are successful thanks to Pinnacle Academy.
