-Payment for the visa application was made on December 11, covering my mom and sister’s family (4 people), and submitted on December 12 by the agent. Flight ticket is for December 23. -I waited since then, frequently following up until December 19. -On December 20, the agent informed me that it was still in process as immigration is limiting approvals for 30-day visa applications. -On December 21, I requested the application number to check directly with immigration the next day, but the agent couldn’t provide it, saying it needed to be requested from their visa department. She promised to update me the next morning, but that didn’t happen. -On December 22, I went to their office to obtain the visa application number, as immigration could only assist me with that detail. I waited for over an hour since the agent arrived only at 1 PM. I insisted on just the application number so I could return to immigration. I also wanted to confirm the exact date the application was submitted. I was assured it was submitted the same day. Another agent explained the immigration announcement limiting approvals for 30-day visas, stating it was beyond their control. When the agent finally arrived, I reiterated my request from the day before. My sister and I decided to consult other travel agents and discovered there was no such announcement from immigration. I requested to withdraw and cancel the application to avoid duplication when the new travel agent reapplies. That was when I learned the shocking truth: my application had been placed in a queue, and there was nothing to follow up on. This is why no application number could be provided. They simply wanted me to wait for the visa to become active in the system. They even suggested I apply for a 60-day visa instead, costing 850 each for same-day approval. This has been a significant lesson in trusting this company with crucial requirements. I’m sharing this as many others are also waiting, as mentioned by the agent. The claim that this is out of their control is misleading. They could have been honest, as there were other options available rather than rebooking tickets that cost me over 800 USD for 4 people. So beware. While agents are polite and respectful, it should be accompanied by honesty and transparency, which was not afforded to me.
