Very frustrating system, not at all intuitive. You approve things but then they are not actually allowed on the phone. Contacted customer services once and found them really unhelpful. I haven’t regretted a purchase this much in a long time. I would not recommend to anyone, wish we had just got a much cheaper standard phone, we bought this as there were some apps we wanted our son to have like google map but we can’t actually get any of them to work. We even have to approve things like listening to voicemails which isn’t helpful when grandparents are trying to get in touch with our son. At one point he didn’t even have permission to be able to hang up a call or put it on speaker phone which to us seemed a bit extreme, we did manage to fix this, although we aren’t actually sure how, there is lots of pushing buttons until you get the right outcome as the system is very tricky to use in the parent portal. I have given two stars purely because he can text using the phone and make calls but in all honesty you could do this with a much cheaper phone. Overall I would say purchasing this phone was a very expensive mistake.
