The 3kg unsmoked ham was fantastic. I followed the soaking and boiling instructions carefully, opting for a blend of water, onion, carrot, celery, and spices instead of my usual cranberry and apple juice. The result was a tender, flavorful ham that wasn't overly salty. I'm still enjoying it with bubble and squeak, pea and ham soup made from the stock, and a ham, leek, and mustard quiche! Exceptional value.
