I dug my 30 year old Karcher A210 out of my garage when having a clear out. I remembered it had a leak from the output port and out of curiosity I checked to see if it had got any worse with it being laid up for all that time, it hadn't but having a bit more time I decided to see exactly where the leak was coming from and discovered it was only from the plastic garden hose type screw connector, sadly after phoning Karcher I was told that it wasn't repairable and the hose connected to the lance end was no longer in stock.The agent suggested buying one of the latest models for a mere £50 - £70 which didn't impress me at all.Not to be one for wasting money I "Googled High Pressure Hose Repairers near me" and up popped PIRTEK near Preston, I called the depot and a very helpful chap suggested I brought the hose and lance section in and he would see what he could do.It took me 20 minutes to get there and after inspecting the problem he took it into the workshop and came back with some parts and suggested these might make a good repair, I agreed and off he went and came back 10 minutes later, job done!Cost of parts, fitting and VAT £22.80. Great value and service. I couldn't wait to try it out when I got home and it worked perfectly.My van has never been cleaner, Block paving doesn't know what hit it and even used it to was the house windows. A great investment.If you have a similar problem with your power washer hoses don't hesitate to contact Pirtek, they may not be able to help but they far exceeded my expectations.
