Visited Pizza Express in Salisbury today and wished I hadn't!Waited over 30 minutes for 2 basic dishes whilst the restaurant was almost empty.Waitress started by bringing a carafe of water that was dirty around the outside, no apology given.My wife's pasta dish was cold, my "Leggera" pizza was approx 9" across with a 5" diameter hole in the middle for the "salad", leaving very little pizza to eat!I understand this was listed as a lower calorie option but £15.25?!!! The salad consisted of only rocket and cress leaves. Very poor value.My wife visited the toilet only to return saying there was no toilet paper, no lock on the door, no loo brush and it was filthy everywhere!Sadly the waitress did not have any people skills at all and was not suited to front of house.The bill for this lunch came to almost £40 which is outrageous for the experience we had.The restaurant was also cold and even the waitress had to resort to putting a coat on!We were left feeling the chain must be on the brink of closure and will not be returning to Pizza Express again.
