I recently ordered from Pizza Pizza today Nov 14th, 2025 after seeing a flyer advertising several promos and one which said, 2 medium pizzas, 4 toppings, 4 drinks, and 2 dips for $24.99. Unfortunately, the experience was nothing like what was advertised.First, while placing my order online, I noticed that the price kept increasing as I added toppings—even though the flyer clearly stated the 4 toppings were included. I added only three toppings to the first pizza and one topping to the second, yet the total jumped to $27.92, which already contradicted the $24.99 promo. This feels misleading.At checkout, the payment summary showed “Tip: $0”, but after paying, I realized they had added a $4.12 tip without my permission. What made it worse was that the tip amount was not listed anywhere on the receipt they sent to me—it only appeared in the final total, almost as if it was hidden intentionally. Tips should be optional and transparent, not quietly added without consent.The delivery service was also extremely disappointing. I placed the order around 8:05–8:10 pm, and it didn’t arrive until 9:18 pm. The tracker kept showing “Your driver is on their way” for over 30 minutes with no movement at all. When I called customer care, the attendant claimed the driver was already on the way, then I explained that I had been seeing the exact same message for the past 30 minutes. Only after he put me on hold to “check” shortly after the call, the tracker suddenly start moving—making it clear the information given earlier wasn’t true.Overall, this was a frustrating and unacceptable experience—from misleading pricing and a hidden unauthorized tip to inaccurate customer service and slow delivery. It was a bad experience, I would not recommend ordering from Pizza Pizza.
