I phoned this morning with a list of jobs important first. Toilet not working, shower mixer not working properly, kitchen mixer tap needs replacing and new boiler needed its first service. Lovely man on the phone said their professional could sort all of those things. Couldn't believe my luck getting an appointment today. Lovely man arrived in an hour. Serviced the boiler sorted the toilet and said i would recieve a quote for the other jobs, hmm. He did say the boiler will now fail its safe check as he couldn't get to inspect the flu. I now have an officially unsafe boiler of 1 year old which is working beautifully. The toilet was not working on my inspection. The lovely man was still sat in his van so I popped out to let him know. He said it would be added to the quote. I let my elderly poor of health husband, with ulcerative colitis, know that he would have to continue to use buckets of water to flush the loo.
Very promptly I received my already paid bill. It said boiler service. Nothing about the important jobs i needed doing. I then received a quote for the urgent work needed doing. Well flabber my garst, how much! Gold plated platinum taps i do not require. Many Thanks for your courteous and prompt service today. I do see what i was paying for but won't be a returning customer unless I remortgage the falling appart house. Best Regards.
