An employee of the company Pluralsight contacted me over the internet and asked me to do work on a course for their company. I worked for about 9 months on a project with an agreed fee of 30k, and they canceled the project just as the work was about finished, with multiple days to go before the deadline. They also took all of the work I did, including my intellectual property. with the following email: I’m reaching out to let you know that Pluralsight is terminating our working relationship with you effective immediately. The communication and working relationship that we’re in is unfortunately not working for either party. This decision was made as a result of your history of being unwilling to follow Pluralsight production processes and standards as well as content quality concerns. There are a few things to be aware of as a result of this decision: As was communicated yesterday, your course, 1151 - Google Cloud Certified Machine Learning Engineer, is canceled. Due to the incomplete submission of the course, you will not be paid a completion payment. You will also not be required to pay for any services rendered by our Production Services team. You will not be able to register for, attend, or speak at Pluralsight events as a Pluralsight author, such as Pluralsight LIVE, Author Summit, or Author Talks with customers. Your access to author-based tools such as Author Home (including analytics), Author Kit, and Author Slack have been terminated and you will no longer be contacted or considered for future content creation opportunities at Pluralsight. Your A Cloud Guru account has been deactivated. You will no longer have access to the Pluralsight Affiliate program, if applicable.
