Unacceptable business practices and…

Unacceptable business practices and beyond sub-par account support. I had a 5 user annual service through account rep Pierce Smith at Plural Sight that was up for renewal in September of 2017. In January I discovered that the account auto-renewed and I was locked in to another year of service for 2732 USD. Coming from a customer service background I expected that I could work with them on this and potentially pay either a pro-rated portion of the outstanding amount and reduce the user count to 2, or come up with another fair solution that left us using their service but with a reduced user count. Plural Sight was unwilling to budge from their stance of making me pay 2732 USD even though I only had 2 users log in for a total of approximately 1 hour each. The account rep Pierce is unprofessional and the only thing he ever says is "I cannot help with that". He focuses more on what he 'cannot' do rather than retaining accounts by leading with what he can do. Totally unacceptable. Look elsewhere for training.
