I completed my PMP certification back in November. The application process was the standout for me — a lot of work to pull together, but well-structured and straightforward once you have your experience requirements in order. PMI clearly laid out what was needed, and the process never felt unnecessarily complicated.
I supplemented my study prep with outside resources, but the PMI Study Hall was a useful touchpoint along the way. The credential itself carries real weight in the industry, and that's ultimately what you're investing in.
As a semi-new member, I haven't yet tapped into the full benefits — discounts on additional certifications, retakes, and other perks — but the value proposition looks strong on paper. Looking forward to making the most of the membership as I continue growing my credentials.
