pnc bank is has the worst customer support available for anything to do with a mortgage. trying to remove an escrow or get your PMI removed is next to impossible. the people you speak with have no idea how anything is to be handled to remove either item and will say one thing then have you pay for an assessment and say it will be reimbursed then tell you it needs to be done by someone they choose and be out of hundreds of dollars. they base your PMI off years old data and do nothing to help you to remove it. stay far far away from them if possible.
