I wish, i can give them ZERO stars. They use your money and incompetent employees don't know, where is the money. As they are unable to see any documentation or reference.
I just needed an extra bank account to manage money properly. But now am repenting for that. I complained a wrong transaction. Its more than a month, still they didn't give my money back. When I contacted the responsible company, they informed that bank has already cancelled the transaction and they do not owe me any money now. I called bank many times, and stupid employees only yell at me, to tell, that there is no money yet and we do not know about any reverse transaction yet. They do not see any documentation regarding cancellation of that transaction.
Never ever open account in this bank.
Worst bank experience ever!!!

I’d give zero stars if I could. I have no local branch because they closed it. The closest branch, if you want to call it’s a bank, it’s about a 20 minute drive from my house. I don’t consider it a bank branch because you can’t really bank there. You can use ATM there. But they don’t allow any type of transactions inside the branch. They call it a cashless bank branch. I received a check from an insurance company and the check is too large to deposit using mobile banking. PNC suggestion was that I use Mayle banking and I mail them the check to deposit it. They were extremely unwilling to find the workaround for this situation that didn’t entail me holding onto the check and waiting for them to decide that I would be allowed to deposit. So now, I have to drive all over town on my lunch break to find a PNC branch where I can make this deposit. I will be filing a formal complaint with the attorney general regarding this situation because there is no excuse for a bank to make it this difficult for a customer to deposit money. I would love to switch banks, but it’s so difficult to transfer all your automatic payments. However, this bank deserves every negative review it gets.

This is where not to bank. They dont verify cashiers checks, which caused significant delays in access to funds, which is the entire purpose of a bank. Interaction with staff members is not good- very unprofessional. Head scratcher on why anyone would bank with a bank that does not verify their own funds. I own 3 businesses and will not accept a cashiers check from this bank, it could be no good.

I called the number 877-659-8663 option 1. The call was recored for quality assurance.
During the call, the representative was inappropriately rude, interrupted me multiple times while I was explaining my issue, and ultimately hung up on me without resolving my concern or providing any assistance. This behavior was unprofessional and left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer.
PNC should prioritize hiring and training staff who are equipped to handle inquiries with patience and respect, or encourage those unsuited for customer-facing roles to look for other jobs.

A Reliable Choice for Banking

I’ve relied on my current bank for a significant period, and it has proven to be incredibly dependable. The mobile application is user-friendly, deposits are processed swiftly, and I’ve never encountered problems accessing my funds when needed.
What stands out the most is the seamless operation — transfers, bill payments, mobile deposits, and debit card management are all clear and reliable. Whenever I’ve sought assistance from customer support, they have been professional and accommodating, which is crucial when dealing with financial matters.
No bank is without flaws, but in comparison to others I’ve used before, my current bank has been consistent and hassle-free. It’s the type of bank that operates smoothly without requiring constant attention.
I would definitely recommend this bank to anyone searching for a trustworthy everyday banking option.

Steer Clear of This Service

Steer clear of this service, as they show little regard for customers, regardless of loyalty. I've been a customer for over 30 years, yet they will abandon you without hesitation. Their focus seems to be on exploiting customers rather than providing support. A former employee has informed me of numerous issues within the company, advising against giving them any business unless it can cost them. At my local branch, which has been around for three decades, the staff are consistently rude, making errors that have cost me both time and money, all while offering no real customer service. I would recommend finding another bank rather than dealing with this one.

THE WORST BANK EXPERIENCE EVER...

THE WORST BANK EXPERIENCE EVER... As a business student in college, I tried to open a "simple banking" account but had no success. I spoke with unhelpful representatives over the phone who work remotely, and I feel completely stuck. The whole situation feels very untrustworthy.

Frustrating wire transfer experience

The wire transfer process demands a debit card or requires a call in. I made four calls, and three times I was redirected to the wire department, only for the call to drop. On the fourth call, I was informed that it would take until the next business day, and this crucial information wasn’t mentioned on their website. This nearly jeopardized a real estate deal that needed the transfer to happen the same day. When I was transferred to customer service, the extension led to a message stating it was a non-working number. My initial call was made well in advance, so this should not have been a problem! Experiencing multiple dropped calls is highly concerning after the fourth attempt. Fortunately, I used another platform, and the wire was completed in minutes without any calls. I am extremely disappointed with the service, especially after being a customer for over five years with a significant amount deposited and supposedly having a personal banker. I will be closing my account and moving to a more reliable bank.

Extremely disappointing customer service.

The customer service experience was incredibly frustrating. My loan was transferred to another institution, and they were unwilling to assist me in adjusting my payments during the pandemic. Although I managed to keep up with the payments, it left a negative impression. In the end, I faced a balloon payment, and I was transferred multiple times over the phone without finding a solution. I even endured a two-hour wait with an overseas call center, determined not to hang up until I spoke with someone who could help. If you're an average customer, I strongly advise seeking services elsewhere!

Avoid this bank at all costs!

I rarely write negative reviews, but this bank has truly disappointed me. I encountered two fraudulent charges. The first was for something related to pets, which I never authorized. After disputing it, I initially got my money back, but then they reversed it, claiming it wasn't fraud. The second charge looked suspicious, and when I inquired, they couldn't identify it but insisted I had used my PIN there. So, they don't even know the source of the charge? After getting that money refunded, they again reversed it, stating it wasn't fraud, yet they still couldn't tell me who made the charge. This situation is outrageous. It seems anyone can start a bank these days. Stay away from this one; they have no branches, limited ATMs, and the ones that aren't theirs will charge you extra.
