UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES: I can confirm Pocketfare's fraudulent practices. On Pocketfare's website today, I found and paid for 2 economy tickets on Alaska. I received an email confirming booking from Pocketfare, but no confirmation from Alaska (which had no record of our trip). I soon got a call from Pocketfare's salesman to demand more money, variously saying: the tickets wouldn't allow any luggage (its website had no such warning, and Alaska's basic economy allows you to pay for bags); only one traveler was confirmed to fly; Alaska was offering a different flight with American instead; and similar arguments. I demanded a refund, but he said (contradicting earlier statements) that Alaska's tickets are nonrefundable. I have already contacted the credit card company.
