As a AV professional I occasionally need to deal with dealer support or customer service for issues related to product failures. Recently, I had a Polk XT35 center channel speaker failure out of the box. The keyhole slots for wall mounting failed. Granted the speaker is quite heavy, but the keyhole slots are supposed to be designed to hold the weight. They didn’t. I took photos and filed a claim with dealer support. They told me they would review and turn the claim around in 48 hours. Two days later I called and they told me 24 hours. Two days later I was told it was being processed. Two days later, still being processed. I asked for a supervisor and was told they were on with another dealer and would call me right back. They didn’t. All the while I’m talking to India. Damaged speaker still sitting in the box in my office and my client still doesn’t have a center channel speaker. That is the last Polk product I will ever buy or sell.
