Wow- new standards

Wow. Porsche dealers are notoriously badly but this lot set new standards of poor quality- a) don't listen b) zero attention to detail c) not very bright people d) appalling management who couldn't care lessPorsche's sell themselves. Being a salesman at a dealership should be the easiest job in the world but seemingly it is beyond the employees at Porsche High Wycombe.I have spent £300,000 on Porsches this year and this lot made me feel like I was buying a 1982 Ford Fiesta. I run a significant and expensive car fleet so I think I have an idea what a good dealership looks like and it is not this lotSome highlightsWhen I first met the salesman, I explained how useless my experience was with Porsche West London earlier in the year and specifically about not providing the registration number so I could insure the car. How we all laughed at their incompetence. Porsche High Wycombe then proceeded to do the sameTrade in- didn't bother to look at the car. Our trade in was in perfect condition and they offered me average trade. Also I was really honest and had £3,000 of work done before trade in which was seamlessly pocketedI then asked for quote for finance. The salesman got the finance amount and the down payment the wrong way round so gave me a quote for the wrong loanWhat do I need to pay on completion? A simple question but apparently not. Amazingly they forgot to knock off the trade inDelivery- despite all of the above they then delivered a car without the tracker set up so it had to go backI then asked for contact details for the salesman's manager. The answer was "Martin". What do I do next without phone or e mail details. Perhaps a Ouija board. BrainlessI finally speak to Martin about the comedy performance and he agrees to pay me £750 "today"10 days later, no sign of it. Martin tells me he will investigate and get back to me "today" which obviously he fails to doThen I speak to Martin's boss. The story he has been fed bears not even a passing resemblance to my experience. His staff have lied through their teeth and this seems to be fineFirst rate people employ first rate people. Second rate people employ third rate people. At Porsche dealerships fifth rate people employ 10th rate peopleI showed a draft of this review to the Centre Principal. He didn't disagree with the factual accuracy. I also gave him a final chance to address the issues- he declined
