Back in January I sent out several email inquiries to different travel agents regarding their offerings. Antonio at Portugal.com responded within minutes to my initial inquiry. He, along with his colleague Eunice, were extremely responsive throughout the process.
The trip was a huge success! The itinerary was perfect and the hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. We made full use of our Lisboa card and were able to visit many museums and explored different parts of the city. The train to the Algarve was great too. All the drivers were professional and helpful. The Algarve tour was more than we expected and the hotel was perfect - right size with the right amenities. We took advantage of the beach for a day to relax.
The highlight of our trip was Sao Miguel. We had a wonderful tour guide, Jose Melo. His knowledge and obvious pride of his home was very apparent. We were so impressed with Joe that we made arrangements for an additional tour on our last full day to see the rest of the island. We were thrilled when he was our driver to take us to the airport on our last day.
Thank you to both Antonio and Eunice for helping us plan such an amazing trip. I have already recommended your company to several people. My hope is to return to Portugal in the future and you can be sure I will make my travel plans with Portugal.com.
