On the 6/3/26 I sent an amplifier for repair to a company called Jarvis Service. I boxed it thoroughly even adding tape marked 'fragile'. I used 'Post Office Tracked 48 Online' from a local Post Office. Barcode number: YA735410274GB.
On the 9/3/26 Jarvis informed me it had arrived damaged and provided photos.
I went onto the Post Office site, that day. and filled in a lengthy questionnaire providing all evidence required. I received a confirmation informing me I would get a reply withing 30 days. The amp is worth around £1000 new and around £600 second hand (evidence provided) but I was warned I could only expect £150 as I did not take out insurance.
After 28 days (on the 7th April) I wrote to the Post Office again asking if there has been any progress.
I received a message telling me they would get back to me in 48 hours.
I have been very paient but appear to be being completely ignored. There seems to be no phone number to speak to a human being and only an infuriating online AI chat bot!?
