I was promised a 7 day free trial and a warning before I'm charged $99. I never received the warning, and was charged a total of $108.86 before the 7 days was up. Any attempt to contact Praktika is responded to by ai. Praktika says to take it up with Apple, and Apple says speak with Praktika. Their latest response is: "We hope you still find good use to the remainder of your subscription period, as it remains active until its expiration date." In other words, "You're stuck with it. Why not try it? You might like it." Ticket #59645937.
The interaction is remarkably seamless; it feels almost like I'm not engaging with AI at all. The corrections provided are excellent. Additionally, the AI instructor comprehends my needs and requests exceptionally well. For instance, I am employed in an English-speaking country and possess a C1 level of proficiency in English.
There are still some glitches that need addressing, and it would benefit from additional Beta testers. While learning Spanish, I encountered a problem in the second lesson of pronouns where it tested me on a pronoun that hadn't been introduced yet. For the past two days, despite selecting Latin American Spanish, it continuously used European Spanish, requiring me to correct it three times.
Up to this point, I have found the AI application enjoyable to use. While some exercises felt a bit advanced, I was able to adjust the difficulty by interacting with it. I believe having conversations will be beneficial compared to the brief self-lessons offered by other applications I've tried.
Praktika fulfills its promises and delivers as expected. The application is user-friendly, well-structured, and suitable for daily learning. The lessons are straightforward, focused, and maintain consistency without being overwhelming.
Though I've only been using this app for a brief period, I'm already gaining so much more knowledge than with other language learning platforms I've tried. It truly makes a difference, and the tutors are fantastic! Their teaching methods and support are exactly what I needed for the language to really take hold in my mind.
I appreciate the conversational approach to learning. Choosing my tutor was also a fantastic feature. The word lookup functionality was excellent as well. The support team was incredibly helpful when I had a question.
I really enjoyed the program. It has a great learning platform, and I learned a few conversational things in the free trial. The problem was just the commitiment of paying for a whole year. If there were a monthly option, I would probably still be moving forward with the subscription
