Frustrating Ticket Cancellation Experience

My partner bought an express lane ticket for me, but I already had one! Unfortunately, the policy does not allow for cancellations or refunds for the £6.00 ticket. The details in the ticket information suggest that cancellations are possible if made more than 2 hours before entry, which is misleading. My travel date is in December, so I have well over 2 hours' notice!
