We have stayed at this Premier Inn Colchester twice previously prior to our last visit in March.
The Location was what we required for visiting a family member who hadn’t long in this world.
Having booked the same room on our previous visit we find the room we had booked was NOT available???
The room was basically designed for people with physical difficulties, the room consisted of a wet room and on ground level which was important.
On our arrival we were told the room had been booked and not available.
We were shocked to say the least.
The company’s explanation given was that specific
room we had booked was only available on line with mentioned of the wet room, we weren’t even informed about changes.
All had been booked on the site premises specifically the
room we had already stayed in on our previous stays.
The company had NOT honoured our previous booking, the receptionist had NO idea but attempted to justify his previous explanations.
We were offered another room which was not adequate for people with certain disabilities but we had no choice but to accept as the funeral was on the following day.
My advice is ALWAYS check your booking.
