Prepory has been an incredibly impactful program for me as a high school junior. The assignments have been both engaging and transformative. I found myself spending hours reflecting deeply because the process genuinely reshaped how I view the college application journey. Through Prepory, I’ve learned that the goal is to identify the universities where I can truly thrive and shine, and that shift in mindset has been powerful. Working with my coach, Nikita Brewer, has been one of the most rewarding parts of this experience. She is exceptionally encouraging and thoughtful. Her ability to provide clear guidance while also affirming my strengths is outstanding. She creates a space where I feel supported and genuinely understood, which is rare to get as a teenager. Prepory, and especially the guidance I’ve received from my Coach Nikita, has made this process feel a lot easier!

I started with Prepory the summer going into my sophomore year. As a first-generation college student and no older siblings who went through the college admissions process, I was clueless where to even start regarding college admission. From the start, Prepory immediately eased all concerns through helping me build my extracurriculars, create a high school schedule that best fit my desired majors, improve my writing skills, and become more confident in myself as a prospective college student. I started with my primary coach Tala my junior year of high school. Tala proved invaluable as a resource in the process of making my college list, brainstorming essay material, and application creation, but also as a source of reassurance. Tala became a mentor to me and I will carry all the lessons she taught me into college.
My tutor elevated my college application, college readiness, and overall writing skills. He was consistently supportive and encouraging while also being realistic and helping me figure out how to present the best version of myself for college admissions boards.
