Not sure whether to call this recruitment company a scam but when I was being interviewed, Oliver Neilson, the recruiter, sounded very professional, but seemed to be telling a lot of white lies to convince me I am an ideal candidate. They did try to push me towards buying a course, I wont call it a scam since it's from a legitimate source (FCA) and im not sure how recruiters could exploit candidates by making us take recognised qualifications. What was dodgy was that you cant apply nor see the companies they have listed for the positions they recommend, they expect you to add things like qualifications or courses undergone to your CV to apply for the role (these are typically £££).It has very very little followers on LinkedIn (53 as of now), but has been in operation since 2022, so they are either doing a poor job or something suspicious is going on. Its account uses stock photos mostly, and fake names on reviews, like really poor fake names, and I tried looking into them on LinkedIn and none of them exist. In fact if you check out the reviews on Trustpilot, most of them sound eerily similar, and have generic responses, so must be from the same person.I also dont ever remember applying for the position, so it's weird they had my details, unless im mistaken, but it seems other people have also experienced the same thing.
