"I hired Priority Tax Relief to resolve my tax debt and handle my filings. While they eventually filed my 2024 tax return, they have completely failed to deliver the Tax Resolution for which I paid a $6,700 fee.
The Facts
1. My contract (Currently Non-Collectible Addendum) promised to secure 'Hardship Status' (CNC) to stop IRS collections. My official IRS transcripts prove they never even requested this status (Missing Code 530).
2. My account has continued to accrue interest and penalties because they failed to secure the collection hold they promised.
3. When confronted, the company admitted in writing that they performed 'no filings' regarding my resolution, yet refused to refund the $6,700 unless I signed a liability release.
Filing a single tax return does not justify a $6,700 fee when the promised 'Relief' was never delivered. I have reported them to the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs and the BBB.
