⚠️ Scam Alert ⚠️ @PropScholar
Don't buy any account from them! They scammed me.
I bought their $10K Maven Trading 2-Step account for $9.16 (20% off with HOLIPS code). If I passed, I would get $44 to buy real $10K account. But right after passing Phase 1, they breached my account with a completely fake reason: "Averaging Violation – adding to losing position during drawdown with same/lower lot size in short time."
I never used martingale (no lot doubling), no hedging (all buys in same direction), no prohibited strategies. The rule they mentioned isn't even written anywhere in their FAQ, help center, or terms & conditions. No mention of "averaging ban", no time limit on adding positions, nothing!
They just used a vague internal interpretation to breach me unfairly and steal my account + money. New traders – stay away! Do not buy from PropScholar.
I hope others don't fall for this. Anyone else got scammed like this?
My account was breached by this prop firm for two reasons:
1️⃣ I placed two trades on EURUSD. The second trade was placed only 6 seconds after the first trade was closed.
2️⃣ I placed a trade on EURAUD, and while the trade was in loss, I opened another trade with the same lot size.
The problem is that I checked their FAQ and rules carefully, and nowhere does it say that you cannot place another trade within a few seconds after closing one. It also does not say that opening another trade while a trade is running in loss is prohibited.
So according to their published rules, I did not break any rule.
Then why was my account breached?
I would like a clear explanation from the company. Otherwise, this raises serious concerns about fairness and transparency.
