Offer agreed subject to conditions that were not met - despite multiple reminders and chasing our end. Our initial offer was increased based upon this work being done. We were also urged to bring our start date of tenancy forward by a week with assurances that the work would be completed on time.
I had to walk the property and produce a schedule of works for the landlord / prospect to complete, which I had to continually chase, constantly being assured the property would be ready.
Upon move in many things not working, lots missed on inventory and the electrical safety certificate must have come free with a box of cornflakes.
When issues reported - several of which were made over a month before move in, I was then asked to fill in a form on a third party app despite raising these issues multiple times and wasting my time visiting the property before move in.
Nearly two weeks after move in, on which multiple issues were flagged by the inventory clerk, we are still waiting for lots to be done.
