The account details were correct. I followed the same process with proxies from another provider – everything worked fine. I'm not mentioning the other source to avoid any impression of promotion. On both devices, even TCP packets couldn't reach the proxy, indicating total blocking via whitelisting. This might be buried in the user agreement, but the marketing on the website claims this is a personal proxy that is always available. Overall, this feels like a classic scam.
